Storm the House

Gee thanks Kotaku — like our plate wasn’t already full enough with Lumines, now we’re addicted to Storm the House too. We’ll be lucky if the film festival ever gets finished. (Kidding, boss!)

Since you weren’t going to get any work done today anyway, check out this game. Be sure to read the instructions, not only because otherwise you’ll run out of ammo after your first three kills, but also because they’re hilarious. Here’s an excerpt:

you are a sniper on the hill or something… you are an alien with a laser maybe? well, that wouldn’t make sense since your wife and kids are apparently in the stronghold… well, whatever. the point is that you’re a dude that shoots death at stick men with your mouse.

Did you see South Park last night? This game actually reminds us a bit of the “Heaven vs Hell” PSP game Kenny was so good at.

Which leads us to ask: would someone please reassure us that a Flash player for the PSP is in the works, so we can put games like “Storm the House” on the ol’ Memory Stick and take them with us? Be sure you hassle everyone you see at Flashforward with a Macromedia badge until they give you the right answer! (Again, kidding! Be polite as you beg.)

If the internet is able to raise over three million dollars to rescue a mediocre TV show (which we’ve watched every episode of, just FYI) what would keep us from passing the hat to fund development of a Flash player for the PSP? How about $40-$50 per user — what you’d spend on a single pre-packaged game would open up the world of free online Flash games. We’re in! Who’s with us?!

By the way, in case you couldn’t tell, this is the Official Geek Zeitgeist Post Of The Week. Tell us how lame we are in the comments…
