FF05NY iMix available

Friday, July 8th, 2005

All the music you hear before and between sessions at Flashforward is painstakingly hand-selected by Kevin Skoglund. He tweaks each playlist for a particular day and time, and always has at least three times as much queued up as we need, in case a break goes long…

If you’re curious about any of the songs you heard, or if you want to hear some of the music that never got played, he also put together an iMix of the subset of songs available on iTunes:

FDT at FF05NY

Thursday, July 7th, 2005

POWERFLASHER debuts and discusses the release version of FDT, an Eclipse plugin for Flash developers, at Flashforward 2005 New York.

POWERFLASHER will be giving an impromptu demonstration of FDT on Friday July 8 at 9am in the Herald Square room (aka Q&A 1) of the New Yorker Hotel. The demos have been generating excitement for weeks, and Carlo and Nico are excited to show off the final release version, meet their beta testers, and discuss the capabilities and future of this tool with the Flash community.

FF05NY underway…

Wednesday, July 6th, 2005

Yo! Is this thing on?! Sorry for the blogwebs (like cobwebs? As in no posts lately? Get it?) — all available caffeine-fueled wakeful moments have been channeled into making this the best conference possible. We’re underway now and there have not yet been any unplanned pyrotechnics so all appears to be going well…

Some of you attending have already been uploading your flashforward-tagged images to flickr — what’s stopping the rest of you? Oh, you have a blog and/or gallery of your own to maintain? Well then send us your links or post them in the comments so we can share with the rest of the class…

And if you’re sitting in hour home/office/home-office not far away from the New Yorker, wishing you were with us instead, we saved you a ticket! Come over soon so you don’t miss anything else.
