The first workshop session of Flashforward2006 Seattle has just begun!

A local attendee, Dave Curry, has posted a helpful set of area restaurant suggestions:

hi guys,

looking forward to the conference starting, they’re always good times!

so anyways, since i’m in seattle, i threw together a list of places to eat in the area for out of towners that might be looking for something more than the cheesecake factory.

Thanks Dave!

If anyone else will be blogging about the event, be sure to post links to whatever writing or pictures you publish. If you upload your pictures to Flickr, don’t forget to add a ‘Flashforward’ tag so we can all keep up with the latest.

More soon from Flashforward!

You have to love how it starts:

Knowledge@Wharton: Let’s start with the basic question: What was the primary motivation behind the acquisition of Macromedia?

Chizen: Flash.

Rumor: Flash Lite on PSP… and PS3?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

You may have noticed that we’re excited about the idea of Flash on the PSP. So we can’t help linking to this interesting blog post. Here’s just part of what’s interesting about it:

“Sony are prepping [the] ‘Flash Lite’ platform for PSP and PS3. They intend to combat XBox Live Arcade with downloadable flash games to your PS3 and PSP. They understand the potential of Flash Lite since the development costs are low and we have a DRM solution in place so online content delivery is taken care of.”

Go have a look at who claims to be speaking and what else he/she predicts. Very interesting.

If we cross our fingers hard enough, maybe we’ll learn more at Flashforward next week!
