Flashforward2006 Seattle has begun!
The first workshop session of Flashforward2006 Seattle has just begun!
A local attendee, Dave Curry, has posted a helpful set of area restaurant suggestions:
hi guys,
looking forward to the conference starting, they’re always good times!
so anyways, since i’m in seattle, i threw together a list of places to eat in the area for out of towners that might be looking for something more than the cheesecake factory.
Thanks Dave!
If anyone else will be blogging about the event, be sure to post links to whatever writing or pictures you publish. If you upload your pictures to Flickr, don’t forget to add a ‘Flashforward’ tag so we can all keep up with the latest.
More soon from Flashforward!

I’d love to upload some pics to flickr if the wireless wasn’t so spotty at the conference.

Don’t give up!
Wireless isn’t available in the actual seminar rooms unless you happen to have a very good antenna. But if you go to any of the public areas of the 6th floor, like the internet lounge, there should be good coverage. Inevitably a few base stations burn out on the first day, but we should have solid coverage as the afternoon progresses and we replace the bad transmitters.

Where to eat. East gate mall is a block north of the conventions center. A lot of great eats at a realistic price.

Can’t wait to get there tomorrow! The weather down here is pretty brutal right now so hopefully there are no delays :-(
