Announcing Flashforward2006 Austin
We are pleased to announce our next event:
FLASHFORWARD2006 AUSTIN
AUSTIN, TEXAS
THE HILTON AUSTIN
SEPTEMBER 11-14, 2006
For the first time ever, Flashforward will be held in Austin, Texas — home of the Texas State Capital, the Texas History Museum, the University of Texas, Dell Computer, Austin City Limits, and enough live music venues to give it the title “Live Music Capital of the World.” That’s not to mention the abundance of amazing barbecue and Tex-Mex restaurants.
Register now for the best prices and a guaranteed spot — the Seattle conference sold out, and we expect the Austin event to do so as well.
We’re still in the very early stages of planning the content for the event, but here are a few of the people who will definitely be joining us:
- Aral Balkan, Ariaware
- Matt and Mike Chapman, HomestarRunner.com
- Hillman Curtis, hillmancurtis.com
- Brendan Dawes, magneticNorth
- Branden Hall, Automata Studios
- Steve Kilisky, Adobe
- Kevin Lynch, Adobe
- Chris and Trish Meyer, CyberMotion
- Erik Natzke, Natzke Design
- Craig Swann, CRASH!MEDIA
Of course we’ll keep you posted as the schedule develops, but if you already know you want to attend, you should register now and take advantage of Super Early Bird pricing through June 23.
Flashforward will be taking over the entire Hilton Austin for this event. The beautiful, new hotel is located in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Sixth Street and Warehouse districts. This will be the nicest location ever for Flashforward — there’s even a spa and a world-class gym.
Be sure to reserve your room at the Hilton Austin soon. We’ve negotiated a terrific deal for our attendees at $179/night. Call 800.236.1592 (or 512.482.8000 outside the U.S. or Canada) for details, and reference group reservation code ‘FLA’ to get our special group discount. To get this great rate, you must make your reservations by August 11, 2006.
Stay tuned for more announcements about Flashforward2006 Austin, and be sure to save the dates!
