Not only was Brendan Dawes kind enough to join us as a speaker in Austin, and to choose our event to launch his amazing new book, but yesterday when another speaker had to cancel last-minute due to weather, Brendan stepped in and reprised his own session instead.

Not long after that we decided Lynda could use some company on stage for presenting awards at the Film Festival (the role we normally reserve for beauty queens) and, once again, Brendan agreed to help out.

Finally, some of the most beautiful pictures posted to Flickr in the past few days under the Flashforward tag happen to be portraits of Brendan Dawes, taken by our friend Chris Orwig.
