Flashforward@Macworld

For the first time, the world’s longest running and largest Flash conference is partnering with the Macworld Conference & Expo. Flashforward@Macworld is one of the Power Tools conference tracks and offers several sessions of Mac-focused Flash® education during the first two days of Macworld San Francisco 2007, January 8-12.

Whether you’re a long-time Mac fan excited to catch up on the latest Flash technologies or a Flash geek new to the Mac, this is a great opportunity to get a taste of the Flashforward experience while you partake in this legendary annual gathering of Mac enthusiasts.

The Flash and Macintosh platforms have experienced a parallel renaissance over the past year as both have gained new capabilities and widespread adoption among the design and development communities.

All Flashforward@Macworld sessions will demonstrate the latest Flash and Flex development tools running directly in Mac OS X and focus on Mac platform integration and workflow topics.

Read more about the sessions and speakers who will be participating in Flashforward@Macworld.

Lynda Weinman will join us to kick off the proceedings, and lynda.com will have its biggest presence ever on the Expo floor. Please join us!

Wait… so is this in addition to the “Flashforward Conference” that’s been held in March or April in past years? Or is this replacing it? Because if it’s the latter, it seems odd to alienate the PC users who wish to attend Flashforward.

This is a bonus mini-event, really just a Flash & Flex education track at the Macworld conference for which we organized the content.

We’ll announce plans for a “normal” Flashforward2007 Conference & Film Festival as soon as we nail down a few more details. Stay tuned!
