Aral Balkan spent some time chatting on-camera with Kevin Lynch yesterday and posted the results earlier this morning. It’s an excellent, lengthy conversation, enhanced with URLs and illustrations of the subjects being discussed, and you should definitely check it out.

Well done Aral, and thanks again to both you and Kevin for joining us at Flashforward!

Galleries by VUVOX, Flickr and you…

For the past several events we've encouraged attendees to collectively document their Flashforward experiences on Flickr.

This year we're hosting a new way to experience this group artistic effort: a gallery viewer from VUVOX. It's drawing from the "Flashforward Boston" group and "flashforward" tag on Flickr, so any pictures you add will work their way into the viewer.

Whether it's your first time in Boston or your home, seeing the experience through the eyes of your comrades will be fascinating as always. Enjoy!

Setup Day & Last-Minute Tips

Hello from Boston!

Today is setup day for the Flashforward team, as we assemble stages, signs, and goodie bags to ready for your arrival. We couldn’t do it without our volunteers, so be sure to thank them when you get here.

If you are already in Boston yourself, don’t forget that you can stop by this evening to pick up your badge, workbook and other materials. The registration desk will be open from 6-8 pm, and opens again Wednesday at 7 am. Whoever checks in tonight can avoid the queue tomorrow!

Be sure to sign in to MeetingPoint, our online forum and networking hub for attendees. Several hundred of you have activated your profiles so far, and lively discussions are already taking place about what to see and do in Boston, among other topics. Join the fun!

As you exercise your photographic skills in a new city, remember to upload the shots you want to share with other attendees to Flickr and tag them with ‘Flashforward‘. We’ll be launching an interactive gallery from VUVOX later today that draws from that image stream, so please contribute.

Happy travels everyone, and we’ll see you soon!
