For the past several events we've encouraged attendees to collectively document their Flashforward experiences on Flickr.

This year we're hosting a new way to experience this group artistic effort: a gallery viewer from VUVOX. It's drawing from the "Flashforward Boston" group and "flashforward" tag on Flickr, so any pictures you add will work their way into the viewer.

Whether it's your first time in Boston or your home, seeing the experience through the eyes of your comrades will be fascinating as always. Enjoy!

Not only was Brendan Dawes kind enough to join us as a speaker in Austin, and to choose our event to launch his amazing new book, but yesterday when another speaker had to cancel last-minute due to weather, Brendan stepped in and reprised his own session instead.

Not long after that we decided Lynda could use some company on stage for presenting awards at the Film Festival (the role we normally reserve for beauty queens) and, once again, Brendan agreed to help out.

Finally, some of the most beautiful pictures posted to Flickr in the past few days under the Flashforward tag happen to be portraits of Brendan Dawes, taken by our friend Chris Orwig.

Thanks for all your help, Brendan! And thanks Chris for sharing the amazing photos!

The team arrived late last week, got things rolling yesterday, and today is setup day! Early attendee check-in runs from 6-8 pm, and speaker rehearsals start around the same time, so there is lots to do. Here are a few pictures of the setup activity.

We posted them on Flickr under the “flashforward” tag, and encourage everyone else to do the same with their shots* so we can collectively document this week-long party!
